Why graphql-jit is fast
graphql-jit turns every GraphQL query into an optimized JS function. Work that GraphQL engines usually repeat for every query at runtime happens once at compile time in graphql-jit. Throughput is 5-16 times higher and heap allocation per request is cut by 62-79% compared to graphql-js. This post walks through where those improvements come from.
